"The Pioneer 80 PM Xplore Ski Package w/ Poles is built for the days that leave the groomed track behind. The ski's full metal edges and cambered profile hold on firmer snow while still floating through variable conditions, and its pre-mounted Rottefella Xplore binding steps directly into the included boot's matching sole for a system built to move as one unit. An adjustable aluminum pole with a wide backcountry basket rounds out the kit, so every piece is rated for the same off-track terrain. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I took this ski off the groomed line into a mix of crust and soft snow and the metal edges held through both. The Xplore binding kept my heel controlled enough to trust a steeper pitch, not just cover flat distance."""
