"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I spent a full day touring rolling terrain in this setup, and the stiffer boot sole gave me real confidence on the downhill stretches without ever feeling harsh. Tightening back up after a break took seconds, even with my gloves still on.""A trail that rolls instead of stays flat changes what you actually need underfoot, and the Atomic Savor XC Posigrip 35 Touring Ski Package w/ Poles is built with that in mind. Head out through open pines, settle into a steady pace, and let the terrain do what it wants, uphill, downhill, and everything between, while the gear keeps its footing so you don't have to think about yours. A stiffer sole and a high cut inner boot add real control on the downhill stretches without turning the ride harsh, and the Backbone Cuff keeps the ankle steady through the uneven snow that rolling terrain tends to hide. When it's time for a break, the stretch Quicklace system snugs back up in seconds, gloves and all. Underfoot, the Posigrip base skips the wax entirely, and a wider ski shape keeps the whole package composed no matter which direction the trail decides to go next."
