The Big Agnes Hinman Sleeping Pad is a high-density, foam-core pad that's appropriate for colder camping conditions. The stretch fabric pairs with the foam core to provide soft cushioning while also providing us a durable sleep system for the campground. The pad self-inflates with a two-way, pull-tab valve that switches easily between inflation and deflation, which also allows us to adjust to our preferred level of firmness. For best winter results, we pair the Hinman with a closed cell foam pad to minimize heat loss.
