Black Crows Pilus Camox Freebird Touring Skin Yellow/Black, 173cm

"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I used the Pilus Camox Freebird Touring Skin on a multi-lap tour up near Berthoud Pass, and the grip held firm through a mix of wind crust and soft powder. Transitions were quick since the glue stayed tacky in the cold, and the glide on the flats saved my legs for the last climb of the day.""The skin track winds up through the trees, quiet except for the rhythmic shuffle of skis, and the Pilus Camox Freebird Touring Skin from Black Crows carries you through it without complaint. Wind crust, soft powder, refrozen corn, it holds its edge on every kind of snow you cross, so the climb becomes less about the surface underfoot and more about the view opening up behind you. Underneath that reliability is a build made for long days out. The mohair and nylon blend strikes a balance between grip on the way up and glide across the flats, so you're not fighting your gear on either end. A thin, waterproof membrane shields the glue from wet snow and temperature swings, keeping transitions fast whether you're stripping skins at dawn or again after a midday lap."
