"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I used this as a midlayer on a few cold touring days, and it held warmth really well without feeling bulky. It packed down easily in my pack, and the stretch made a noticeable difference when moving uphill.""We move fast through cold terrain where staying warm without slowing down is critical, and the Solution 2. 0 Jacket from Black Diamond fits seamlessly into that rhythm. Whether layered under a shell on a windy ridge or worn on its own during a steady climb, it delivers dependable warmth without excess weight. PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core technology provides efficient heat retention in a lightweight, compressible package. The recycled nylon ripstop shell is finished with a PFAS-free DWR treatment for added weather resistance, while stretch elements enhance mobility during high-output movement. Zippered hand and chest pockets keep essentials secure, and the jacket packs into its own pocket for easy storage when conditions shift."
