"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I took the Canvas 118 Skis into a fresh powder stash after a storm, and the lighter build made it easy to pop off natural side hits instead of just plowing straight through. Flotation felt effortless even in knee deep snow, and the ski still felt playful enough to slash a wind lip on the way back to the lift. It's changed how I think about a powder day.""Fresh snow blankets the run overnight, and the Canvas 118 Skis from Blizzard turn that morning into more than just another set of straight lines through the pow. Pop off a natural side hit, land soft in a fresh pillow, and keep the flow going all the way down, because this ski was built for a version of powder skiing that includes air and style along with the float. This is deep snow skiing for skiers who want more out of a storm day than just survival. That lighter, more playful character comes from a build focused on keeping weight down without giving up performance. A poplar and paulownia wood core skips heavier metal laminates, so the ski feels lively and easy to move in the air, while full sidewall construction still delivers real edge control when a line tightens up. A sintered graphite base keeps glide fast between turns, rounding out a powder ski built for creativity as much as flotation."
