"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""Every time I lace up the Hyperion Elite 5, it feels like flipping a switch. It’s insanely light, super responsive, and the DNA GOLD midsole feels explosive underfoot. The carbon plate delivers just the right amount of stiffness for fast turnover, and the upper practically disappears when you're moving.""The Hyperion Elite 5 Running Shoe is built for one thing—speed. Brooks pulled out all the stops for this race-day shoe, crafting it around ultralight DNA GOLD foam for unmatched energy return and spring-loaded responsiveness. With the lightest, softest racing cushion they’ve ever made, the Hyperion Elite 5 brings elite-level propulsion to your fastest miles. At the heart of the shoe is the carbon fiber SpeedVault™ plate by Arris™, optimized by size to reduce weight and fine-tune stiffness where you need it most. Combined with a new zero-waste upper that fits like a second skin, the Hyperion Elite 5 disappears on your foot so you can focus on nothing but your next PR. With a 40. 3mm heel, 32. 3mm forefoot, and a featherweight build at just 6. 9oz, it’s designed to keep you fast and fresh from the gun to the final kick."
