Although it officially falls under Campy's non-series designation, it's fully compatible with all Ergopower shift levers so you'll get the maximum performance possible while running rim brakes and a Campagnolo drivetrain. The brakes feature a self-balancing design and independent adjustment of the arms so they can move in complete symmetry offering an easy setup and equal pad pressure on the rim. Forged alloy skeleton arms, used elsewhere on its other conventional rim calipers, are utilized here as well as they've proven to be extremely stiff and lightweight. Besides being lighter, offering better aerodynamics, and providing more braking power and modulation, direct-mount calipers allow for more tire clearance, and in this instance, Campy says you can go up to 32mm wide rubber. The brakes come with cartridge style pad holders and include special compound brake pads for optimal braking in both wet and dry conditions on alloy rims. With carbon rims, please use the pads provided with the wheels.
