"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I grabbed this for a ride that started chilly but was supposed to warm up fast, and it turned out to be exactly the right call. It packed down small enough to stuff behind my saddle once the sun came out, and the high collar kept the wind off my neck on the way there.""The first ten minutes of a ride are almost always the coldest, and Castelli built the Transition Air Jacket to solve just that window without overcommitting to a heavier layer. We love throwing this on over a jersey for the rollout, trusting the microfiber nylon to block the wind while the fit stays close enough to disappear once we're moving. A high collar keeps the draft off the neck on the way out of the driveway, and elasticated cuffs and waist keep everything sealed and tidy without a single loose edge. It's the kind of jacket that earns its spot in a pocket on nearly every ride, ready the moment the wind picks up."
