The Cervelo Aspero Apex XPLR AXS Gravel Bike is our weapon of choice for high-speed, mixed-terrain riding with its lightweight construction and road-like geometry. The Cervelo All-Carbon construction allows for a smooth, compliant ride that keeps us comfortable as we ride over rough terrain, while the race geometry places us in a powerful, aerodynamic position so we can push more watts than ever before. Though it may look like a road bike, it features an assortment of gravel adaptations, such as a slimmed downtube and lower standover height, to ensure our bike can handle any terrain we encounter. On this Aspero, we are riding with unmatched control across the entire bike with the 1 x 12-speed SRAM Apex XPLR AXS drivetrain. The wireless AXS controls the XPLR gearing with a simple button push, shifting our rear derailleur between the 11-44t cassette and pairing with the 40t chainring for a wide range of gearing designed to conquer any terrain. The ergonomic controls of the shifter/brake levers are comfortable in our hands to limit fatigue in the hands and offer pinpoint braking control at a moment's notice.
