This Colt Model of 1911 U.S. Army is in very good condition. SN 142072 puts its manufacture in 1917. It appears to be redone but a very nice job. Grips are aftermarket. This is a very nice gun for a fair price.

For your consideration, the Colt U.S. Army Model of 1917 revolver chambered in .45 ACP. The 1917 revolver was made to supplement the the 1911 during World War 1. Both Smith & Wesson and Colt produced these revolvers for the war. Essentially
