"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I wore the Bergtagen GTX Pro Jacket on a multi-day winter mountaineering trip through a stretch of wind-driven snow and stayed completely dry the entire time. The helmet-compatible hood and underarm vents made moving through technical terrain a lot easier to manage.""Winter mountaineering doesn't leave much room for gear that gives up halfway through the day, and the Bergtagen GTX Pro Jacket from Fjällräven is built to hold up through the worst of it. Picture a high alpine push through blowing snow and cutting wind, every layer underneath depending on the shell to keep the weather exactly where it belongs. A GORE-TEX PRO membrane delivers durable waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection built for exactly this kind of exposure, while a superior cut keeps freedom of movement intact through technical moves. A helmet-compatible hood adjusts to hold its shape in wind, a two-way front zipper with a chin guard adds comfort at the collar, and zippered underarm vents dump heat fast when the effort ramps up. Designed with repair in mind rather than replacement, it's a jacket meant to see season after season on the mountain."
