"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I wore this on a backcountry snowboard tour where the wind never let up above treeline. The zip-through collar with the wind flap kept every draft out, and I stayed warm through the whole skin track without overheating.""A backcountry tour that starts before sunrise and ends with a long ride down demands a layer built for extremes on both ends, and the La Montana Zip T from Hot Chillys delivers exactly that. Brushed micro denier polyester fleece traps heat through the coldest stretches of the climb, while stretch chamois panels under the arms and at the cuffs move with every pole plant and turn. A zip-through collar with an interior wind flap seals out drafts at the neck, and the chest zip pocket keeps small essentials within reach without breaking stride. This is the layer built for when the wind picks up and the temperature drops fast, exactly when it matters most."
