Kong's Cam Clean is a clever chest ascender designed for dirtier ascents. It blocks out muddy, icy ropes thanks to the holes on the cam itself. A special chemical treatment and thermal process give a much higher surface hardness, wear-resistance, and better handling in lower temperatures. Kong outfitted the ascender with a shock-loading lever and an anti-overturning cam to reduce the risk of accidental opening.
