"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I trust this rope in the harshest conditions, whether I'm ice climbing or tackling a long alpine route. The Eco Dry treatment keeps it from soaking up water, and the durability is impressive—even after repeated use on rough rock. It handles smoothly right out of the package, and I appreciate the center mark for quick identification on rappels. A great balance of lightweight performance and reliability.""When every gram counts, but durability and safety are non-negotiable, we trust the Mammut Alpine Eco Dry Rope 8. 0mm for our alpine, ice, and multi-pitch adventures. This double-certified half and twin rope delivers lightweight performance without compromising reliability, making it a go-to for challenging routes in harsh conditions. Built with Mammut’s abrasion-resistant Eco Dry treatment, this rope repels water and dirt while exceeding UIAA dry rope standards, absorbing less than 1. 5% water in tests. That means it stays dry, strong, and ready to perform, whether we're climbing frozen waterfalls or navigating a high-altitude ridge. A durable center mark enhances efficiency on rappels, and the rope arrives tangle-free, so we can focus on the climb from the first use."
