We pack along the Mountainsmith Halite 7075 WSD Trekking Poles when we head out into technical, uneven terrain because of their easy portability and versatile design. The lightweight aluminum 7075 poles are designed for hard use on unforgiving trails, and the four-piece design collapses down to a mere 14 inches so they can be lashed onto our backpack while not in use. The poles have a usable range between 48 and 54 inches that allows us to quickly adjust to changes in terrain, and the cork, EVA, and TPR handles offer an ergonomic grip that is comfortable in our hands during long hours on the trail.
