"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I like how quickly this shelter pitches with the carbon poles—especially in tight spots or bad weather. The peak height feels great for a one-person tent, and the vestibule space is enough to keep gear organized without feeling cramped.""When the day winds down in high terrain, the MTN Shelter Neo 1-Person Tent from Mountainsmith gives us a stable, efficient refuge. The bundled carbon pole setup creates a fast, intuitive pitch that’s easy to manage when the light fades or conditions turn. Inside, the generous peak height of 45 inches gives us room to sort gear, change layers, or simply stretch after a long ascent. Dual vestibules offer 14 square feet of protected space, keeping packs, boots, and wet layers clear of the sleeping area. The recycled nylon and PU-coated fabrics hold firm against wind and moisture, and the shelter’s compact packed size fits easily into a small-volume kit. Durable stakes and thoughtful reinforcement add security for nights when the weather can't be counted on. Built for efficient travel, the MTN Shelter Neo 1 supports committed solo missions from high ridgelines to quiet forest flats."
