Looks can be deceiving, and although Osprey's Soelden 32 Backpack boasts a sleek, minimalist-looking style, it's fully featured for backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and touring. The front panel delivers quick access to necessary avalanche gear like a probe and shovel, and the back access allows you to reach the main compartment with skis or a snowboard still strapped to the pack. The harness and waist belt are both adjustable and have EVA foam padding, and the Soelden uses a 2. 5mm LightWire frame and a frame sheet to balance the load on our backs. The pack's front panel features ski or snowboard carry straps, an ice tool attachment, and sled carry loops. The Soelden is fabricated from water-resistant materials with snow-shedding padding at the back, shoulder straps, and waist belt.
