"The fr 02 110 Ski Boot pairs a hybrid cabrio/overlap shell with a two-position walk mechanism, so one boot handles a resort line, and the skin track back out without a swap. The overlap cuff locks in edge control and power transmission on the descent, while flipping the walk bar frees up range of motion for the climb. Tech inserts built into the shell work with touring bindings, and preinstalled GripWalk soles keep the boot compatible with standard alpine setups too. A 110 flex rating across intermediate to expert ability puts real stiffness behind the versatility, backed by a mid-volume toe box and heel-lock pocket that keep the foot secure through long days. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I skied a firm, wind-scoured line down and then flipped the walk bar to hike back up for a second lap, and the boot didn't feel like a compromise in either direction. The heel stayed locked through the descent, then the liner's flex zone let my ankle move enough on the skin track that I wasn't fighting the boot the whole way up."""
