The Pertex Quantum shell is coated with a durable water repellent to protect the down from moisture while the 650-fill duck down also features a hydrophobic finish to prevent sweat or water from compromising the down's loft and ability to trap warm air. These features let us enjoy the light and lofty warmth of down without having to worry as much about moisture ruining our bag—and our camping trip.
