The pack stands up to rugged rocks and sharp tools and ski edges with an ultra-tough Cordura nylon shell that's reinforced with Spectra ripstop—fibers that are 15 times stronger than steel for their relative weight. That keeps weight to a minimum, but we can also remove the foam back panel, detachable rope straps, and other features to shed weight for ultralight missions. A HydroShield water-resistant finish fights off moisture while the roll-top provides a weatherproof seal and easy access to our gear and layers.
