"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I clip this straight onto my harness on multi pitch days and pull it on the second I'm off belay duty. The sheet insulation breathes surprisingly well once I start moving again, which isn't something I could say about my old down layer.""Between pitches, a climber needs warmth that shows up fast and gets out of the way just as quickly, and the Microlighter Pullover Hooded Jacket is built around that rhythm. TXdown sheet insulation breathes more readily than loose-fill down, so it doesn't turn into a sweaty liability the moment climbing resumes. The close-fitting hood adds coverage without bulk under a helmet, and a half zip keeps the design simple and low profile against a harness. Two clip-in loops let the whole thing attach directly to a rope sling or pack, so it's always within reach rather than buried at the bottom of a bag when the temperature drops mid-route."
