"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I ran this full left and right set on my gravel bike through a wet, muddy fall season. The hood shape kept my hands planted on chattery descents, and the braking stayed strong lap after lap.""The gravel road ahead splits into a rutted descent, loose rock scattered across the line, and there's just enough time to think about braking before the surface drops away. That split second is where the Rival 1 HRD Shift Lever & Caliper Set earns its keep, matching a confident lever pull with hydraulic power that holds steady through the rough stuff. Long days in the saddle ask a lot of a rider's hands, and this set was shaped with that in mind. The taller hood profile keeps grip secure through washboard gravel and wet descents, while the adjustable reach lets riders of any hand size dial in a setup that feels custom-built. Paired front and rear, the levers and calipers work together to turn technical terrain into just another stretch of road."
