Salomon Genesis 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's Grape Leaf/Black/Deep Lichen Green, US 12.0/UK 11.5

"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I put the Genesis 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe through a full wet season on technical singletrack, and the GORE-TEX kept my feet dry on every creek crossing and muddy descent. The ActiveChassis really does make a difference on loose and uneven terrain, it keeps the shoe feeling planted underfoot without making the ride feel stiff or slow.""The best trail running shoes are the ones you stop thinking about a mile in. The Salomon Genesis 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe gets out of the way and lets you run, whether that means hammering down a rocky descent, pushing through a soaked morning trail, or putting in long miles on terrain that keeps changing under your feet. The GORE-TEX membrane handles wet conditions without compromise, so stream crossings and unexpected downpours stay outside where they belong. Underfoot, the optiFOAM midsole delivers cushioning that stays responsive across the full duration of a run rather than packing out when you need it most. The ActiveChassis sits between the midsole and outsole to stabilize your stride on uneven ground, adding confidence on technical terrain without loading up the shoe with unnecessary weight. The Matryx upper brings durability and structure to the forefoot without sacrificing the flexibility a trail shoe demands, and the Contagrip All Purpose outsole puts reliable traction down across every surface from dry rock to soft mud. At 10. 6 ounces, this is a shoe that earns every gram."
