"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I spent a day working on turns with a friend who was just starting out, and the soft flex made every mistake feel low stakes instead of scary. The detuned edges meant we never caught a hang up mid turn, which kept her confidence building all day. It's a board that makes learning feel like progress instead of a struggle.""The Salomon Lotus Snowboard is for the run where every turn is still new, where confidence matters more than speed and every small win counts. We ride it through a full day of building basics, feeling the soft flex forgive the moments that don't go as planned, so the focus stays on progress instead of pressure. That patience is built into the details. Bite Free Edges run the full length of the board, fully detuned straight from the factory, so hang ups never interrupt the flow of a turn. Flat Out Camber keeps things stable and responsive right underfoot, exactly where a newer rider needs the most support, and the full-length Aspen core with high-density wood in the binding zone keeps the feel consistent from the first run of the day to the last."
