"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""For a smooth ride in deep snow, I trust the QST X. It’s wide enough to stay on top of powder, but it still feels composed when I hit firmer sections. The cork damplifiers keep things quiet and stable, while the twin tips make it playful for slashes and features. It’s a powerful ski that doesn’t feel punishing.""Who It’s ForAdvanced Freeride and Powder Skiers:The QST X is made for riders who want a wide platform for deep powder but still need stability when conditions get variable. Perfect for skiers chasing storm days, freeride lines, and playful big-mountain terrain. What It’s ForPowder Days and Freeride Exploration:With a 116mm waist, rocker/camber/rocker profile, and twin-tip design, the QST X thrives in bottomless snow. It floats effortlessly, pivots easily for surfy turns, and still holds an edge when moving back to hardpack or tracked-out terrain. Why We Like ItFloat, Playfulness, and Stability Together:We like the QST X because it feels both powerful and fun. The karuba/poplar core provides a balance of strength and lightness, while cork damplifiers and flax-carbon fibers smooth out chatter at speed.
