"The Salomon RS8 Vitane Skate Ski Package pairs a boot built for long sessions with a ski and pole set on the same Prolink-compatible system, so nothing about fit or compatibility gets left to guesswork. A 3D mesh liner and Sensifit overlap upper keep the boot breathable as the miles add up, while a thermo-moldable foam liner shapes to the foot rather than asking the foot to adjust to the boot. At 2lb 6oz, the boot stays light enough to disappear underfoot, and the G5 World Cup base and Stringer Core keep the ski itself fast and stable across changing snow. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I heat-molded the liner before my first real week on these, and by day three I'd stopped thinking about my feet entirely, no hot spots, no break-in soreness. The mesh upper kept things from getting swampy even on a warmer spring session, which is usually where boots start to feel like a chore."""
