Sawyer Oars created the Square Top V-Lam Oar with laminated Douglas fir handle and shaft for a progressive flex from the tapered design. We like the combination of fiberglass and carbon X-Weave reinforcement that provide rigidity while maintaining a forgiving feel that's easier on our joints.
