"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I grabbed the Challenger Jacket for a young skier in my family who spends full days on the mountain, and the Sorona insulation kept them warm through lift lines and long runs alike. The removable hood and powder skirt made it easy to adjust as the weather shifted throughout the day.""Kids do not slow down for cold weather, and the Spyder Challenger Jacket is built to keep pace with them. We zip up young riders before the first chair and watch them tear down run after run, confident the 10K/10K EXO SHIELD fabric is holding up against wind and wet snow the whole time. A removable, helmet compatible hood with an inner gaiter switches easily from full coverage on a windy chairlift to a streamlined fit once the sun comes out. Sorona insulation keeps the warmth locked in without weighing down small shoulders, while a fixed powder skirt with gripper elastic seals out snow on every fall and re ride. Zippered hand pockets, a dedicated data card pocket, and an internal goggle pocket give young riders the same organized setup the adults get, so nothing gets lost between runs."
