"The North Face Aconcagua Hooded Parka extends well past the hip, so a full 38 inches of insulated coverage protects the thighs in conditions where a shorter jacket leaves them exposed. The same three-piece hood and 180 grams of recycled polyester fill that keep the head and underarms warm on this jacket's shorter siblings carry through here, paired with 200 grams through the main body. A WINDWALL shell and non-PFC DWR finish block wind and light precipitation over that entire length, not just the torso. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I stood at a bus stop in single digits and stopped noticing my legs were cold about halfway through the wait. That length does something a hip-length jacket just can't."""
