"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""I mounted the Martello Trail as my front tire for all-around trail riding, and it’s been killer on everything from flowy hardpack to rooty messes. It digs in without slowing me down, and the sidewalls offer solid support without feeling overly stiff.""We ride the Vittoria Martello Trail when our day on the bike includes pedaling to earn descents and pushing limits on the way down. Built from the bones of Vittoria’s enduro racing platform, this trail-optimized version cuts weight without dialing back grip, making it a no-brainer for all-mountain riders who demand traction on everything from techy climbs to loose, rowdy chutes. The Martello Trail's moto-style lugs grip hard in corners, clear out quickly in loam or mud, and provide predictable braking when things get steep. The 4-compound Graphene-infused rubber balances fast rolling with sticky grip, while a reinforced trail casing offers just the right mix of protection and suppleness. Paired with a sidewall insert and puncture belt, it rides confidently where lighter tires flinch."
