"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I skied the M7 Mantra Ski on a firm morning groomer and felt locked in through every carve, no chatter or hesitation on edge. Later in the day when snow got chopped up by other skiers, the ski still held a stable, confident line.""Confidence on a ski often comes down to how it holds an edge when speed and firm snow meet, and the Volkl M7 Mantra Ski delivers exactly that kind of edgehold run after run. We've carved fast groomers early in the morning and pushed into chopped up afternoon snow on this ski, feeling stability at speed that makes it easy to keep pushing the pace instead of backing off. The 4D Radius Drive sidecut gives quick turn initiation up front while staying planted once speed builds, and Tailored Carbon Tips place fiber precisely along stress lines for sharper handling at the front of the ski. A Tailored Titanal Frame scales stiffness to each length, matching power transmission and dampening to the ski underfoot instead of a one size fits all build."
