Unlike most wire gates, the Helium has a snag-free gate similar to solid gates with keylock noses. Wild Country hot-forged it in an I-Beam shape to reduce weight as much as possible without inhibiting overall strength. The result is a solid climbing carabiner that weighs a little over an ounce.
